Pond

Nikon D7500, 55.0-200.0mm @55.0mm, 1/200 sec., f/4.0, ISO 250

Took this photograph a couple of weeks back while I was walking in a park near my home. When I initially looked at it I did not like it that much. I went back to the group of photographs I took that day, and made some adjustments to this one. I’m still not completely satisfied with it, not sure if it is too dark, but it is not as bad as I initially thought. I may revisit this scene in the future and try some other angles, exposures, etc.
If you look through the photograph you can see the Monocacy River in the back. There is a island to the right and as the summer progresses the stream that separates the island will mostly dry up, in some areas it has already done that, making it easy to get to the island. For now though this pond/puddle provides a nice reflection in the early morning.
